Our Process
At DawgHouse, we take a strategic approach to athletic development. Our process focuses on building explosive strength, preventing injuries, and preparing mentally for the game.

Resistance Classes
Resistance training is a core focus at DawgHouse Training. Our weekly schedule is designed to provide frequent and consistent opportunities for athletes to develop. By combining resistance bands with proprietary equipment, we target fast-twitch muscle fibers—essential for explosive movements like sprinting, jumping, and rapid changes in direction. This type of training plays a vital role in the development of top-tier athletes, and our goal is to make it both effective and accessible for student-athletes striving to reach the next level.

Injury Prevention Classes
Modeled after our Resistance Training sessions, these specialized classes are held every Wednesday evening. While resistance bands remain a key component, these sessions also incorporate a variety of complementary training methods. The focus is on strengthening smaller stabilizing muscles, giving the body time to recover while enhancing overall durability. Particular attention is given to the knees, ankles, and neck—areas commonly prone to injury in athletic performance.

Please note: While no training program can fully prevent injury, our goal is to reduce risk by promoting balanced strength and building a more resilient, well-rounded athlete.

Every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00pm and 7:15-8:15pm.

Seminars/Film
Mental readiness is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of athletic performance. Preparing the mind before competition not only contributes to winning but also plays a key role in injury prevention.

To support this, we host monthly seminars and film sessions covering a range of topics such as understanding defensive strategies, communicating effectively with scouts, and enhancing professional exposure through social media. These sessions are designed to help athletes develop the knowledge and skills necessary for success both on and off the field.

Once a month usually on a Sunday
Scouting Assistance
The recruiting process can be challenging, and DawgHouse Training offers support to help athletes present themselves confidently to college scouts. We provide guidance on how to effectively communicate your strengths and showcase your skills during interactions with recruiters. Our goal is to help you better understand the scouting process and prepare to make a positive impression.
